Braeburn is transporting a cart of apples to Canterlot as his wagon breaks down. And who should come to his rescue? But a particularly charming white mare in a wagon on her way back to Ponyville. This is Maressey's third track and a tribute to our beloved Rarity and the chance meeting between the element of generosity and our rustic stable boy.

Vocals for this track are by the amazing Morte McAdaver who helped come up with the Maressey project a good 2 years ago and he returned to help see it come to fruition. His channel is here. https://www.youtube.com/user/MorteMcA...

All the rest of the instruments are done by Johnny Mare who helped truly launch this project too by working on the instrumentals for 10 of our songs. He's a long time Smiths fan and not even a brony.. A huge thanks to his generosity in making this project happen. https://www.youtube.com/user/johnnymare

And I am Freewave who did the mixing, mastering, and is organizing this project. I'm here https://www.youtube.com/user/thefreewave

The wonderful artwork is by Adlynh http://adlynh.deviantart.com/art/The-...

This is of course a ponified cover of The Smiths original classic. "This Charming Man" is a song by the English rock band The Smiths, written by guitarist Johnny Marr and singer/lyricist Morrissey. It was released as the group's second single in October 1983 on the independent record label Rough Trade. Eventually included on their first album. You can get that original here https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/th...

Downloads will be available when the free album eventually comes out.

Adapted Lyrics:
Crumbled wagon cart
On the outskirts of Canterlot
Will nature make a stallion of me yet?

And from this charming cart,
This charming mare

Why pamper life's complexities
when the linens run smooth
on the passenger seat?

I would go out tonight
but I haven't got a stitch to wear
This mare worked all day so
I might sport a suit with some flair

Ah!

A primped-up stable boy
who never knew his place
She said "please pose for me"
(she knows so much about these things)
(she knows so much about these things)

I would go out tonight
but I haven't got a stitch to wear
This mare said "It's gruesome
that somepony knows such despair"

(la, la la, la la, la la…)
This charming mare
This charming mare

Ah!

A primped-up stable boy
who never knew his place
She said "please pose for me"
(she knows so much about these things)
(she knows so much about these things)
(she also talks so MUCH about these things)

Thanks to all those supporting the Maressey project and getting the word out. Tumblr is here: http://maressey.tumblr.com/
If you like it let us and EQD know. Another track next week. ;) Cheers
